OUR IDENTITY IN CHRIST (PART TWO)

The most important identity we can ever embrace is the one God has already given us through Jesus Christ. Let’s continue uncovering the truth about who we are in Him:

5. You Are God’s Masterpiece – Created with Purpose

You are not an accident. You were intentionally formed, uniquely designed, and divinely positioned.

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” — Ephesians 2:10Your purpose was set in motion long before you were born.

6. You Are Victorious, Not Defeated

In Christ, we don’t fight for victory—we fight from a place of victory.

“In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” — Romans 8:37Even in trials or weakness, your victory is secure in Jesus. You are not just a struggling sinner—you are a victorious overcomer.

7. You Are Being Transformed Daily

Though your identity in Christ is complete, your life is a continual journey of transformation.

“And we all... are being transformed into His image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord.” — 2 Corinthians 3:18Spiritual growth is not about striving, but about becoming who you already are in Him.

8. You Belong to a Family and a Kingdom

You are not alone. In Christ, you are part of the Body—a family with purpose.

“In the same way, though we are many, we are one body in union with Christ...” — Romans 12:5You are also a royal priesthood, a holy nation (1 Peter 2:9). You belong to God’s household and His Kingdom mission.

Declare These Truths Over Your Life:

• I am a child of God (John 1:12)

• I am forgiven and free (Colossians 1:14)

• I am the righteousness of God in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21)

• I am seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6)

• I am chosen, holy, and dearly loved (Colossians 3:12)

• I am a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19)

• I am God’s workmanship (Ephesians 2:10)

  
  

Final Reminder: You are not who the world says you are. You are not defined by your past or how you feel on your worst days. You are who God says you are and His Word is final.
