Change Reveals God’s Beauty (Part Three)
Romans 8:28
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.”
The third truth about seasons of change is this: change reveals God’s beauty.
Have you ever noticed that leaves are at their most radiant just before they fall? Their brilliant reds, oranges, and golds paint the world in color before fading away. In the same way, God often uses endings, transitions, and transformations to display His beauty and purpose in our lives.
What may feel like loss or uncertainty is often the backdrop where His glory shines the brightest.
Biblical Examples of Beauty Through Change
Joseph’s betrayal led to his promotion and the saving of many lives.
Genesis 50:20 — “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.”
Ruth’s grief and loss led to redemption — and she became part of the lineage of Christ, proving that God brings restoration from sorrow.
Paul’s transformation on the road to Damascus (Acts 9:1–19)
Saul, once a persecutor of Christians, encountered Jesus and became Paul, one of the greatest apostles in history. God turned what seemed destructive into a powerful vessel for His purpose. That is the beauty of divine change, redemption shining through what once looked hopeless.
Jesus’ death led to resurrection and eternal salvation.
The cross, which symbolized pain and defeat, became the most beautiful image of victory and love.
Finding Beauty in Your Season
Transitions have a way of unveiling God’s glory. The hardest seasons often become the clearest evidence of His hand at work. Like autumn leaves that brighten the sky before falling, our faith can radiate most beautifully when life feels uncertain.
Instead of asking, “Why me?” during difficult changes, try asking, “Lord, how can Your beauty shine through me right now?”
Every trial, transition, and transformation is part of God’s design, shaping us, refining us, and revealing His beauty through us.
Reflection:
How has God used a difficult transition to reveal His beauty in your life? Take a moment to think about it, and let gratitude rise for the ways He turns endings into beginnings.
Next time, we’ll close this series on A Season of Change. Until then, trust that in every shift and season, God’s beauty is unfolding right before your eyes.
